About Us

Established in 1972 the Pilot's Mutual Benefit Fund (The New Zealand Airline Pilot's Mutual Benefit Fund) provides assistance to its members who have lost a pilots licence through medical reasons.

All members of the Fund must be financial members of the New Zealand Airline Pilots' Association

The focus of the fund is rehabilitation and assistance with a view to the re-licensing of the member. If this is not possible then the fund may, at its own discretion, pay out a capital benefit.

The New Zealand Pilots' Mutual Benefit Fund shares its staff and premises with the similar Mutual Fund of the Air Traffic Controllers.
